Exodus 1:4

דָּ֥ן וְנַפְתָּלִ֖י גָּ֥ד וְאָשֵֽׁר׃

Dan, Naftali, Gad, and Asher.

 

Morphology

  1. דָּ֥ן (Dan) – Root: דין (d-y-n); Form: Proper noun; Translation: “Dan”; Notes: The fifth son of Yaʿaqov and the firstborn of Bilhah, Rachel’s handmaid, meaning “judge.”
