וַיֹּ֣אמֶר שָׁא֣וּל פֻּ֣צוּ בָעָ֡ם וַאֲמַרְתֶּ֣ם לָהֶ֡ם הַגִּ֣ישׁוּ אֵלַי֩ אִ֨ישׁ שֹׁורֹ֜ו וְאִ֣ישׁ שְׂיֵ֗הוּ וּשְׁחַטְתֶּ֤ם בָּזֶה֙ וַאֲכַלְתֶּ֔ם וְלֹֽא־תֶחֶטְא֥וּ לַֽיהוָ֖ה לֶאֱכֹ֣ל אֶל־הַדָּ֑ם וַיַּגִּ֨שׁוּ כָל־הָעָ֜ם אִ֣ישׁ שֹׁורֹ֧ו בְיָדֹ֛ו הַלַּ֖יְלָה וַיִּשְׁחֲטוּ־שָֽׁם׃

And Shaʾul said, “Disperse among the people and say to them, ‘Bring near to me each man his ox and each man his sheep, and slaughter here and eat, and do not sin against YHWH by eating with the blood.’” So all the people brought each man his ox in his hand that night, and they slaughtered there.
