1 Kings 2:27

וַיְגָ֤רֶשׁ שְׁלֹמֹה֙ אֶת־אֶבְיָתָ֔ר מִהְיֹ֥ות כֹּהֵ֖ן לַֽיהוָ֑ה לְמַלֵּא֙ אֶת־דְּבַ֣ר יְהוָ֔ה אֲשֶׁ֥ר דִּבֶּ֛ר עַל־בֵּ֥ית עֵלִ֖י בְּשִׁלֹֽה׃ פ

So Shelomo expelled Evyatar from being priest to YHWH, to fulfill the word of YHWH which He had spoken concerning the house of ʿEli in Shilo.
