Joshua 9:15

וַיַּ֨עַשׂ לָהֶ֤ם יְהֹושֻׁ֨עַ֙ שָׁלֹ֔ום וַיִּכְרֹ֥ת לָהֶ֛ם בְּרִ֖ית לְחַיֹּותָ֑ם וַיִּשָּׁבְע֣וּ לָהֶ֔ם נְשִׂיאֵ֖י הָעֵדָֽה׃

And Yehoshua made peace with them and made a covenant with them to let them live, and the chiefs of the congregation swore to them.
