Leviticus 25:39

וְכִֽי־יָמ֥וּךְ אָחִ֛יךָ עִמָּ֖ךְ וְנִמְכַּר־לָ֑ךְ לֹא־תַעֲבֹ֥ד בֹּ֖ו עֲבֹ֥דַת עָֽבֶד׃

If your brother becomes poor alongside you and is sold to you, you shall not make him serve as a slave.
