Numbers 21:32

וַיִּשְׁלַ֤ח מֹשֶׁה֙ לְרַגֵּ֣ל אֶת־יַעְזֵ֔ר וַֽיִּלְכְּד֖וּ בְּנֹתֶ֑יהָ וַיִּירָשׁ֙ אֶת־הָאֱמֹרִ֥י אֲשֶׁר־שָֽׁם׃

And Moshe sent men to spy out Yaʿzer, and they captured its villages and dispossessed the Emori who were there.
