1 Samuel 15:35

וְלֹא־יָסַ֨ף שְׁמוּאֵ֜ל לִרְאֹ֤ות אֶת־שָׁאוּל֙ עַד־יֹ֣ום מֹותֹ֔ו כִּֽי־הִתְאַבֵּ֥ל שְׁמוּאֵ֖ל אֶל־שָׁא֑וּל וַיהוָ֣ה נִחָ֔ם כִּֽי־הִמְלִ֥יךְ אֶת־שָׁא֖וּל עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ פ

And Shemuʾel did not see Shaʾul again until the day of his death, for Shemuʾel mourned for Shaʾul. And YHWH regretted that He had made Shaʾul king over Yisraʾel.
