Exodus 38:4

וַיַּ֤עַשׂ לַמִּזְבֵּ֨חַ֙ מִכְבָּ֔ר מַעֲשֵׂ֖ה רֶ֣שֶׁת נְחֹ֑שֶׁת תַּ֧חַת כַּרְכֻּבֹּ֛ו מִלְּמַ֖טָּה עַד־חֶצְיֹֽו׃

And he made for the altar a grating, a work of bronze mesh, beneath its ledge from below, to its middle.
