Exodus 39:9

רָב֧וּעַ הָיָ֛ה כָּפ֖וּל עָשׂ֣וּ אֶת־הַחֹ֑שֶׁן זֶ֧רֶת אָרְכֹּ֛ו וְזֶ֥רֶת רָחְבֹּ֖ו כָּפֽוּל׃

It was square; they made the breastpiece double: a span its length and a span its width when doubled.
