וָאֶתְּנָ֨ה אֶת־הַלְוִיִּ֜ם נְתֻנִ֣ים לְאַהֲרֹ֣ן וּלְבָנָ֗יו מִתֹּוךְ֮ בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵל֒ לַעֲבֹ֞ד אֶת־עֲבֹדַ֤ת בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ בְּאֹ֣הֶל מֹועֵ֔ד וּלְכַפֵּ֖ר עַל־בְּנֵ֣י יִשְׂרָאֵ֑ל וְלֹ֨א יִהְיֶ֜ה בִּבְנֵ֤י יִשְׂרָאֵל֙ נֶ֔גֶף בְּגֶ֥שֶׁת בְּנֵֽי־יִשְׂרָאֵ֖ל אֶל־הַקֹּֽדֶשׁ׃

And I have given the Levites as wholly given to Aharon and to his sons from among the children of Yisra’el, to perform the service of the children of Yisra’el in the Tent of Meeting, and to make atonement for the children of Yisra’el, so that there will not be a plague among the children of Yisra’el when the children of Yisra’el come near the sanctuary.
