1 Samuel 18:8

וַיִּ֨חַר לְשָׁא֜וּל מְאֹ֗ד וַיֵּ֤רַע בְּעֵינָיו֙ הַדָּבָ֣ר הַזֶּ֔ה וַיֹּ֗אמֶר נָתְנ֤וּ לְדָוִד֙ רְבָבֹ֔ות וְלִ֥י נָתְנ֖וּ הָאֲלָפִ֑ים וְעֹ֥וד לֹ֖ו אַ֥ךְ הַמְּלוּכָֽה׃

And Shaʾul was very angry, and this matter was evil in his eyes, and he said, “They have given Dawid tens of thousands, but to me they have given the thousands. And what more does he have but the kingdom?”
