Gen 8:21 [Septuagint]
And the LORD God smelled a savour of sweetness, and the LORD God said what He had in mind, “I will not any more curse the earth, because of the works of men, because the thought of man gives heed to evil from his youth, therefore I will not any more smite all living flesh as I have done.”

Gen 8:21 [Vulgate]

And YHWH smelled the pleasing aroma and YHWH said in His heart, “I will never again curse the ground because of humankind, for the inclination of the human heart is evil from youth; nor will I ever again destroy every living thing as I have done.”
