Genesis 2:7

וייצר יהוה אלהים את האדם עפר מן האדמה ויפח באפיו נשמת חיים ויהי האדם לנפש חיה׃

ויצר יהוה אלהים את האדם עפר מן האדמה ויפח באפיו נשמת חיים ויהי אדם לנפש חיה׃
And YHWH Elohim formed Adam from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and Adam became a living soul.

Gen 2:7 [Masoretic]
וַיִּיצֶר יְהוָה אֱלֹהִים אֶת־הָֽאָדָם עָפָר מִן־הָאֲדָמָה וַיִּפַּח בְּאַפָּיו נִשְׁמַת חַיִּים וַֽיְהִי הָֽאָדָם לְנֶפֶשׁ חַיָּֽה׃
And YHWH Elohim formed Adam from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living soul.

* translated here as Adam instead of the Man. The 70 translators (LXX)  translated Adam with definite article (הָֽאָדָם) as τὸν ἄνθρωπον (the man) as that is what it means in Hebrew. Jerome follows the Septuagint.

וּבְרָא יְיָ אֱלֹהִים יַת אָדָם עַפְרָא מִן אַרְעָא וּנְפַח בְּאַפּוֹהִי נִשְׁמְתָא דְּחַיֵּי וַהֲוָת בְּאָדָם לְרוּחַ מְמַלְּלָא:
And YeYa Elohim created Adam from the dust of the earth, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and it became in Adam a spirit who is able to speak.

יצער יהוה אלה ית האדם צעף מן אדמתה וזעף באגרין נסמת חיין והוה אנש לנפש קעימה:
