1 Kings 16:16

וַיִּשְׁמַ֤ע הָעָם֙ הַחֹנִ֣ים לֵאמֹ֔ר קָשַׁ֣ר זִמְרִ֔י וְגַ֖ם הִכָּ֣ה אֶת־הַמֶּ֑לֶךְ וַיַּמְלִ֣כוּ כָֽל־֠יִשְׂרָאֵל אֶת־עָמְרִ֨י שַׂר־צָבָ֧א עַל־יִשְׂרָאֵ֛ל בַּיֹּ֥ום הַה֖וּא בַּֽמַּחֲנֶֽה׃

And the people who were encamped heard, saying, “Zimri has conspired and also struck down the king.” And all Yisraʾel made ʿOmri, commander of the army, king over Yisraʾel that day in the camp.
