וַיִּשְׁלַח֩ שָׁא֨וּל מַלְאָכִ֜ים אֶל־בֵּ֤ית דָּוִד֙ לְשָׁמְרֹ֔ו וְלַהֲמִיתֹ֖ו בַּבֹּ֑קֶר וַתַּגֵּ֣ד לְדָוִ֗ד מִיכַ֤ל אִשְׁתֹּו֙ לֵאמֹ֔ר אִם־אֵ֨ינְךָ֜ מְמַלֵּ֤ט אֶֽת־נַפְשְׁךָ֙ הַלַּ֔יְלָה מָחָ֖ר אַתָּ֥ה מוּמָֽת׃
And Shaʾul sent messengers to the house of Dawid to watch him and to put him to death in the morning. But Mikhal, his wife, told Dawid, saying, “If you do not save your life tonight, tomorrow you will be put to death.”
