1 Samuel 30:6

וַתֵּ֨צֶר לְדָוִ֜ד מְאֹ֗ד כִּֽי־אָמְר֤וּ הָעָם֙ לְסָקְלֹ֔ו כִּֽי־מָ֨רָה֙ נֶ֣פֶשׁ כָּל־הָעָ֔ם אִ֖ישׁ עַל־בְּנֹ֣ו וְעַל־בְּנֹתָ֑יו וַיִּתְחַזֵּ֣ק דָּוִ֔ד בַּיהוָ֖ה אֱלֹהָֽיו׃ ס

And Dawid was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was bitter, each man for his son and for his daughters. But Dawid strengthened himself in YHWH his God.
