* Instead of  ויאהל the Syriac has ܘܝܪܬ (and inherited), with the change of ה into ח and of א into נ, which the Hebrew letters easily bear.

Avram dwelt in the land of Kenaʿan, but Lot dwelt in the cities of the plain, and pitched his tent as far as Sedom.
