וְהָיָ֗ה בְּכָל־יַחֵם֮ הַצֹּ֣אן הַמְקֻשָּׁרֹות֒ וְשָׂ֨ם יַעֲקֹ֧ב אֶת־הַמַּקְלֹ֛ות לְעֵינֵ֥י הַצֹּ֖אן בָּרֳהָטִ֑ים לְיַחְמֵ֖נָּה בַּמַּקְלֹֽות׃
And it was, whenever the flock was in heat, the bound ones, Yaʿaqov placed the rods before the eyes of the flock in the troughs, so that they would become heated by the rods.
