Numbers 31:5

וַיִּשְׁלַ֨ח אֹתָ֥ם מֹשֶׁ֛ה אֶ֥לֶף לַמַּטֶּ֖ה לַצָּבָ֑א אֹ֠תָם וְאֶת־פִּ֨ינְחָ֜ס בֶּן־אֶלְעָזָ֤ר הַכֹּהֵן֙ לַצָּבָ֔א וּכְלֵ֥י הַקֹּ֛דֶשׁ וַחֲצֹצְרֹ֥ות הַתְּרוּעָ֖ה בְּיָדֹֽו׃

And Moshe sent them, a thousand from each tribe, to the army, along with Pineḥas son of Elʿazar the priest, to the army, with the holy vessels and the trumpets for sounding in his hand.
