2 Samuel 2:23

וַיְמָאֵ֣ן לָס֗וּר וַיַּכֵּ֣הוּ אַבְנֵר֩ בְּאַחֲרֵ֨י הַחֲנִ֜ית אֶל־הַחֹ֗מֶשׁ וַתֵּצֵ֤א הַֽחֲנִית֙ מֵאַחֲרָ֔יו וַיִּפָּל־שָׁ֖ם וַיָּ֣מָת תַּחְתָּ֑ו וַיְהִ֡י כָּל־הַבָּ֣א אֶֽל־הַמָּקֹום֩ אֲשֶׁר־נָ֨פַל שָׁ֧ם עֲשָׂהאֵ֛ל וַיָּמֹ֖ת וַֽיַּעֲמֹֽדוּ׃

But he refused to turn aside, so ʾAvner struck him with the back end of the spear into the belly, and the spear came out from behind him. And he fell there and died in his place. And it came to pass that everyone who came to the place where ʿAsahel had fallen and died stood still.
