2 Samuel 4:7

וַיָּבֹ֣אוּ הַבַּ֗יִת וְהֽוּא־שֹׁכֵ֤ב עַל־מִטָּתֹו֙ בַּחֲדַ֣ר מִשְׁכָּבֹ֔ו וַיַּכֻּ֨הוּ֙ וַיְמִתֻ֔הוּ וַיָּסִ֖ירוּ אֶת־רֹאשֹׁ֑ו וַיִּקְחוּ֙ אֶת־רֹאשֹׁ֔ו וַיֵּֽלְכ֛וּ דֶּ֥רֶךְ הָעֲרָבָ֖ה כָּל־הַלָּֽיְלָה׃

And they came into the house, and he was lying on his bed in his bedroom, and they struck him and put him to death and removed his head. And they took his head and went by the way of the ʿArava all the night.
