Deuteronomy 20:13

וּנְתָנָ֛הּ יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖יךָ בְּיָדֶ֑ךָ וְהִכִּיתָ֥ אֶת־כָּל־זְכוּרָ֖הּ לְפִי־חָֽרֶב׃

And YHWH your God will deliver it into your hand, and you shall strike all its males with the edge of the sword.
