Numbers 32:8

כֹּ֥ה עָשׂ֖וּ אֲבֹתֵיכֶ֑ם בְּשָׁלְחִ֥י אֹתָ֛ם מִקָּדֵ֥שׁ בַּרְנֵ֖עַ לִרְאֹ֥ות אֶת־הָאָֽרֶץ׃

Thus did your fathers when I sent them from Qadesh Barnea to see the land.
